Two weeks ago we embarked on a romantic Petersen sibling getaway to the great state of Hawaii. Since there were 7 1/2 of us going, there were many pre-Hawaii planning meetings to make sure we were all on the same page for the trip. The very last meeting was a little different though. We got to talking about the extreme snorkeling we would be doing, and somehow the conversation went from there, to ear pressure control, to cleaning out our ears, to having a family ear wax candle event. I don't think these things actually do anything, but we all had our ears "cleansed" in prep for Hawaii. I promise it is not some weird family "cult" thing.
That same night we made our shirts for the airport,
which Kai was previewing for us.
In case you were unaware, Hawaii is the rainbow state; hence the rainbows.
