Have you ever been in the airport and seen a big family with cheesy matching shirts? Yep, that's us. As bright as a shirt can possibly be with enough double rainbows to knock you over. If you think about it, it is really a safety precaution. This way no one gets lost or left behind. Just follow the rainbows!
This was an adults-only romantic trip, but somehow Oliver Bean talked his way into going. We had to hold on tight to him because he wasn't wearing rainbows and we could have easily lost him.
These three were walking through the airport together in search of food and they got some pretty funny looks. What a happy couple.
4 Sisters
Tasha, Dirk, Katie Bean, & me.
Immediately upon arrival, our hosts (Katie's parents who live on the big Island and allowed us to take over their house for the week) lei'd us with candy leis.
We finally got to the house and were each shown our rooms. This was Dirk's cosy room where we also did our laundry each day.

LOVE the shirts! I wish I could have witnessed the Petersen family walking through the airport in those. So FREAKING AWESOME!
I love this. I love how close you all are and that you take these trips together. How lucky that you all still live in southern CA and can spend so much time together!
