The Tongue is back

When Griff was a baby his tongue was always sticking out.  We couldn't get a pic with his tongue in his mouth!  Now the tongue is making a comeback.

What a funny guy.

Easter- Granny's House

Every year, Easter is the same... and we like it that way.  Easter afternoon we go to Granny's where she puts together a sweet egg hunt.  She makes enough eggs packed with goodies for all the grand kids and great-grand kids.  Everyone is assigned a color combination and has to find their own.  The Easter bunny hides the older grandkids' eggs in some pretty ridiculously hard spots to find, but we get through it.

After the hunt we get to the real fun, dinner.  Granny makes the best food.

Mickey Mouse band aids!

The only kind of band aids we had in the house were plain or princess.  The kids had been talking about how we needed boy band aids for when Griff gets a boo boo.  I guess their dreams came true and aparently it was super exciting.

Never Ending Easter

The day before Easter, Cousin Jordyn had a sweet Easter themed birthday party;

 Thus, the never ending Easter weekend.

Everyone donned little bunny ears

While the kids were busy inside, 2 bunnies secretly hid eggs in the yard for the kids

Pirate's Cove

Nope, we did not go on another vacation.

We just went on an afternoon adventure in Corona Del Mar.

When we told them they were in the Pirate's Cove, they started making the "arrrrr" sounds like a pirate.  Then it turned into howling and growling which I captured on film.

At some point Griff lost his clothes, and the "running from the waves" gave commenced.  We were laughing because the rocks prevented any actual waves from hitting the beach.  It was more like a trickle a water that would come in, and the kids would run like crazy.
