A Hard Day's Work

A few weeks ago Aaron went in to work on a Saturday to clean up the warehouse.

We brought the babies with us to "help" Aaron out and they acted like they were at Disneyland

We Like Great Seats at Sporting Events

Last week we were spoiled rotten by Aramark and their awesome

seats at the Staples Center and Dodger Stadium.

 

Monday Night- Aramark box suite seats at the Clippers/Pacers game

(we dressed appropriately in full Laker apparel)

Saturday Night- Aramark Dodger Dugout Club Seats behind home plate.

We were so close we could smell the players

LA Temple Visitor Center

Last week for mutual, we took the youth to the

LA Temple Visitor Center, and to walk the temple grounds.

It was such a hassle to fight the five o' clock traffic, but it was worth it.

It's not always convenient to make it to the temple, but it is always worth it!

Easter Morn

Smith Family Easter Tradition

When my babies wake up they find a trail of candy and eggs that lead them

to the Easter baskets that the bunny left for them.

Lucky for Aaron, the Easter Bunny brought him a basket too.

I LOVE Easter.

I love it for 2 reasons:

1st The religious aspect- It's a time when we focus more on Christ and his

sacrifice for us. We learn of him, remember him, and gain a greater testimony of him.

2nd The candy aspect.  That's right, I love the candy at Easter.  I love buying it, and I love eating it.

I love that my Granny still has an annual Easter egg hunt, and I LOVE that she still hides eggs for all the adult Grandchildren, in addition to the little kids.

Just Another Morning

Last week when I was dressing Kali for school,

Griff picked out this little ensemble, gun sling and all.

I sure love that kid.

We like to Egg Houses

The week before Easter, we went "Egging" for our YW activity. 

Rather than chucking eggs at the houses of ward members, we decorated their doors, and left them sweet little goodies and notes.  We had a great time being sneaky and spreading the love.

My littlest, tallest brother received the Melchizedek Priesthood last month.  He was found worthy to receive this Priesthood Power that he will hopefully use all throughout his life, and will someday pass on to his own son.
