Bringing Him Home

While we were at the hospital, Kali wasn't able to come visit us because of the "no children" rule. It was really hard to be away from her for those 2 days, but once we brought the baby home to her she was so excited and so sweet with him. She just kissed him and held him for the longest time.

Now that he's been home a few days, she's getting used to having him around, but she still loves to kiss him any time she can reach him.

Our little guy is finally here!

Griffin Aaron Smith was born February 16th at 8:55pm. weighing in at 8 lbs. 2 oz.

and measures 21in. long.
It was a long day at the hospital because I had to be induced that morning, but once I was dilated to a ten, he was here within minutes. Here are a few pictures from the hospital...

I know I am biased, but he is such a good baby!! He sleeps all the time, and is so peaceful when he is actually awake. We hope he stays like this forever.

Happy Valentine's Day

This is what I woke up to this morning: Roses, See's, and a breakfast shake. It was perfect.

Just So You All Know...

There still is no baby. However, I am to be induced on Tuesday morning if he does not come before then. I can therefore promise you all a baby by Tuesday night.

Something to get excited about

Smaller diapers mean smaller messes

The little guy is NOT here yet but is threatening to come any time now. I've had nearly constant contractions for 3 days now, but nothing worth going to the hospital over. We'll let you all know when he decides to show his little face.

What's Important to Me...

Having a package of these in the cupboard at all times is what is important to me these days.
