Whales and Motorcycles
This last weekend Aaron and I took a little trip of 760 miles round trip. The crazy part is, we rode the motorcycle the whole way. Yes... 760 miles on a motorcycle means we rode all day Saturday and all day Sunday. It probably would have been really boring and exhausting if it the ride wasn't so beautiful.
On Saturday morning we left Little Saigon (that's where we reside) and all the way up California to Big Sur. That's almost to San Francisco. We drove along the most beautiful beaches, through rolling green hills, along sheer cliffs dropping into the ocean, and through Redwood forests. It was awesome. We saw elephant seal resting on the sand, dolphins jumping in the ocean, pods of whales blowing water in the air, and a family of deer running in the woods. Saturday night we stayed at a lodge in the middle of a forest at the top of a cliff over the ocean. They had no TV's, no phones, and not even a gas station. It was really cool. On Sunday morning we hiked down to a waterfall, drove to a paradise-like beach where the mountain stream hits the ocean, and drove all the way home.
The pictures that we took just didn't do it justice.

This is what most of the ride looked like
