Family Photo Outtakes

The day we took our family picture was pretty rough.  Kali cried the entire time!  She didn't want to take pictures, and we were losing light so we tried to force her into it.
This is what we were dealing with.

But Aaron, Griff and I tried to make the best of it despite her pouting

Thanks Tash!

I Need New Clothes!

Last night we took the kids out to look at some Christmas lights, and after looking at the photos, this first one looked really familiar.  I looked through my old pictures and found one of me standing in front of the same tree, 9 years ago, wearing the same jacket!  Please send me a new jacket!

Mexico- Last Part ( I promise)

The Last day- Perhaps my favorite day.

I got to sit with my two best girls and watch the last sunset. We talked and laughed for hours, just like the pre-kids days.
The Last Supper
We miss you guys! Can't wait for Cruise 2013.

Mexico- Part 3

Our last stop was in Puerta Vallarta, where we took a van out to the jungle and zip lined through the trees and above a river. It was so beautiful and so high up! I don't have pics of the view because we were more focused on staying alive than photos.

Group shot in our gear.

Me flying through the jungle
Aaron and I racing back to camp. I can't remember who won.

Afterwards the girls playing on the slides that dropped off into the river

It was a little piece of heaven

Mexico-Part 2

Cabo San Lucas.

This is the view from the ship of Lover's Beach, where we spent the whole first day.
First thing we did after we got off the boat was get some Mexican food.
Which was soooo good

Then we took a little boat to Lover's Beach

Which looked like paradise. Duh.

It looks nice and friendly, but the waves were murderous! They were so big and powerful that we basically risked our lives every time we dipped our toes in. One of us even got swept away a few times, but I won't mention any names.

Chase took Kortney aside and proposed to her right next to this beautiful arch.

Congratulations guys!

Pretending to be a model.

That was such a fun day and I'll never forget it.

The next day Aaron and I kayaked across the entire bay (seen below) back to the arch. I don't have any pictures from that day, and it was so exhausting but worth it. Afterwards we were so tired that we just laid on the beach the rest of the day.

Mexico is for Lovers- Part 1

Last month we went left the babies at home and went on an amazing week long cruise with our BFF's. We left out of Long Beach and cruised down to the Mexican Riviera, stopping at Cabo for 2 days and Puerta Vallarta for a day. The ports weren't the fabulous part of the trip though. The fabulous part was eating, relaxing, sleeping, laughing, and being carefree with our friends. We had so much fun and are still on a cruise high! We have about a million pictures from the trip and I'll try to cut it down to an even hundred.

This was our lovely home for the week (newly refurbished after catching on fire last year and breaking down off the coast of Mexico)

1st day at sea- so happy just to lay around and laugh.

The boys got fake Puma tattoos and were real happy about it
