GIRLS CAMP 2013

I was able to go to 3 days of girls camp this year and it was awesome!
It was fun, and beautiful, and the weather was great, and the food was great, and there was little drama, and it was spiritual, and it brought my girls so close to one another.  It really was awesome. Sometimes I feel like I have the hardest job in the world, and then times like this I am so grateful for it.

Zip lining!

The food hall was so far away from our cabins, that I would drive my car to every meal.
Each time I came out there would be a car full of girls waiting to hitch a ride.
We had it rough.

This is my favorite pic because it was my favorite memory.
All my girls with puffy eyes from crying during our little pow wow.
Everyone expressed their love for each other and how close the 1st ward and Vietnamese Branch had grown.  It was everything that a leader wants to hear from their girls.  They also shared their testimonies of the gospel, and it was so sweet that I will never forget it.

The last night-
This is a shot I took from my bunk.  I wanted to sleep so badly but the girls
apparently couldn't get enough of each other!
I sure love them.

After visiting the Smiths, we journeyed to the land of Park City
to meet up with bestees Kristen & Al, and Kristen & Sean.

A Conversation Between Siblings

Kali:  "Griffey, first Lulu was born in her mommy's tummy at the pet shop and daddy picked her up.  Then I was born in Mommy's tummy, and then you were born very last in Mommy's tummy okay?"

Griff: (laughing heartily) "ha ha you have baby puppies in your tummy!"

Pleasant Grove

At the beginning of the month we My sister and I made the trek to the great state of UTAH.
In tow, Kali, Griff, and Naomi.  On the way there, we were dead stopped in traffic, and the girls pulled the babies out for quick feedings.

Our first stop was Pleasant Grove to visit the Smiths.
We took the kids to Bridal Veil Falls again, and to play around in the Provo River.

Kali and cousin Brigan- Jamaican Style!

Loving Mariah's swing

Slipping AND sliding.  What more could a kid want?

Laguna Trolley

Last month Tasha and I took the cousins on the Laguna Trolley.
Love this trolley because its cute, fun, drives along the beach, and its FREE.
So fun fore kids... and full grown adult women.

You'll notice Griff is clutching his sandal for dear life.  This is because moments earlier, he accidentally dropped his other sandal off the side of the trolley on a main street.
Yes, I had to go back later and find it.  It was a success!

After the sandal incident, we topped off the day at Shaw's Cove, where my children modeled for me.
