Carlsbad 2011

This was our fifth consecutive summer camping at Carlsbad Beach and it was one of the best yet. Do I say that every year? Perhaps. It's a lot of work camping with little munchkins but so much fun to see them sitting around the campfire, or snuggling up in the tent. This year we took Kailer with us and Kali was stuck to him like glue for 3 days straight.

This pic is of Aaron and Kailer tossing a ball back and forth which we all did endlessly. The wagon emerged again

I LOVE this pic so I had to share it

The only downside to the trip was that Griff kept us up ALL night both nights. It's not that he was uncomfortable or crying, its that he was so excited that he was sleeping with us. He crawled around talking and giggling for hours, and every time I tried to block out the noise with a pillow, he would lift it off my face and say, "mom, Mom, MOM!" until I took it off. Torture. Needless to say, he slept for hours and hours on the beach each day.

Kali was so excited to sleep next to Kailer that she begged to go to bed each night.

Daddy's Birthday

For Aaron's birthday the kids and I dropped in on him at work to bring him some goodies. They got a kick out of sitting at Daddy's desk

Angels Game

Last week we scored some last minute tickets to the Angels/Mariners game (literally had a 2o minute notice) so we dragged the kids and set them up with some cotton candy. It was a great game with lots of dancing in our seats. Griff thought the crowd was cheering for him every tine there was a run. Love the face Kali is making

Independence Day

I was too lazy to take pictures on the 4th of July, but luckily my sister took these. The day was just as it should be with food, swimming, and fireworks.
