For Griff's birthday we took the kids to Disneyland. We have a friend who said she could get us in for free last Saturday so we jumped at it. We knew it would be packed but it was CRAZY packed because of the holiday weekend. We barely went on anything the first few hours, and were not able to see any princesses because of all the people there. It was pretty frustrating, since we had hyped up the day so much to the kids. Fortunately my sister, my dad, and KC met us there and we joined forces to get the kids on more rides. We took turns standing in lines and passed the kids under/over ropes and made some fun memories for the kids. After our last ride, we got a great spot right under the fireworks display and watched in amazement as Tinkerbell soared above us. It turned out to be a really nice night. Can't wait to go back on a normal weekday and see everything that we couldn't get to.
That morning Aaron got up with the kids and made them Mickey Mouse pancakes to get them in the Disney mood.
Poor Kali thought this was a ride and wanted it to start flying. She didn't realize there was a 90 minute line for the actual ride behind her.
Outside of "It's a Small World." Apparently we Smiths wear layered shirts and don't look at the camera...
Loved "Its a Small World"
I stopped taking pictures at this point because it was so chaotic, but
KC took these pictures later that night
