The Ball

Saturday night we went to Dodger's stadium to see them take on the Mariners. We sat in the outfield pavilion where they serve all-you-can-eat Dodger food, and where it's convenient for my brothers to harass the outfielders. The best part was when Aaron's all time favorite player, Ken Griffey Jr., hit his 620th home run right at us. Literally... right at us. It even hit me in the leg.

This is the shot from Sport's Center, where you can't even see me because I was ducking for my life and everyone else was jumping on top of us.

After the ball slipped through a few people's fingers, hit me in the leg, and landed on the ground, Aaron swiped it and has been a happy boy since.

- He said it was like Christmas.

Dallas

Here's a few pictures of our weekend in Dallas. We flew there for Aaron's sister Shelli's wedding, which was beautiful. By the way, we love her new husband Joey and are so glad he is now part of the fam.

When we weren't in wedding clothes, we were surviving the heat in the swimming pool.
Here's Kali catching the football

She prefers to have the pool to herself.

Santa Monica

Last week Aaron had the day off, so we took the muffin to the Santa Monica Pier. I had never been on the big ferris wheel there, so we went on it and Kali LOVED it.

Happy girl

Spotlight on Krinny Pie

Today is my little (6'4") brother Krin's 16th birthday and I thought I would celebrate it by blogging some pictures of his newly brace-free teeth.

Last weekend some of the family went to Bella Terra to witness Krin's jazz band play a few sets. Krin was a master on the tenor saxophone.

This is Krin rockin out

I left them with my camera for 30 seconds and this is what I got.

We love you Krinny... happy birthday!!

Memorial Weekend

Saturday we went to the beach with Dad and Casey. Aaron and I got FRIED in the sun but Kali stayed pasty white under the umbrella.

On Monday we took her over to Kailer's house to play in his new pool. I don't think she liked it as much as Lulu Cowdog did.

Is there a child in here? This is how I found her during her nap.

Quake

Tonight we had an earthquake that was a 5.0. I used to love earthquakes but now they scare me. I think it's because I am not just responsible for myself now, but for this miniature person also. It didn't feel like a big one but I was still got all shook up over it. Literally.
No damage in the house other than a glass frame that shattered.
That makes 2 earthquakes for Kali in the last 9 months.
