Here's a few pictures of our weekend in Dallas. We flew there for Aaron's sister Shelli's wedding, which was beautiful. By the way, we love her new husband Joey and are so glad he is now part of the fam.

Santa Monica
Last week Aaron had the day off, so we took the muffin to the Santa Monica Pier. I had never been on the big ferris wheel there, so we went on it and Kali LOVED it.

Quake
Tonight we had an earthquake that was a 5.0. I used to love earthquakes but now they scare me. I think it's because I am not just responsible for myself now, but for this miniature person also. It didn't feel like a big one but I was still got all shook up over it. Literally.
No damage in the house other than a glass frame that shattered.
That makes 2 earthquakes for Kali in the last 9 months.

Happy Saturday Morning
Sit back and let me tell you about the last 30 minutes of my life.
The baby kicked it off with a blow out in her diaper. As I carefully carried her to the changing table, cautious of getting the poop on my shirt, it started to seep through her pajamas. I laid her down and began to peel the poopy pj's off her body. After placing them in the sink to start soaking, I began to peel off the diaper which was loaded to the brim. Just as I did this two things happened. One: the baby threw the pacifier she was holding into the poopy diaper. Two: the dog, who was standing at my feet watching, threw up not once.... but twice. I don't know if it was the site/smell of the diaper that did it, but something caused her to lose her lunch at that very moment. Lovely.
Anyhoo, I spent the next 30 minutes wiping down the baby, sterilizing the pacifier, scrubbing the carpet (in two places), and scrubbing the PJ's by hand.
Jealous anyone?
