This year the kids were more excited than ever before because they really understood what was happening. On Christmas Eve we put them to bed on the floor in our room, so that we wouldn't risk missing their reactions in the morning (this happened to my brother with his kids). They were giggling as we said goodnight because of the excitement. IRONICALLY, when they woke up the next morning (after sleeping in), they did not question or remember why they were on our floor. They just climbed into our bed where they played and talked about non-Christmas things. Finally after about 20 minutes Aaron and I couldn't take it anymore and reminded them that Santa may have come. Then the screaming and joy began...
This year was the year of shock.
I think Aaron was shocked when he pulled out this puppy.
He thought that was his only big gift, so he was shocked again with this one.
I was shocked when I opened my last gift under the tree, only to find about 10 more
wrapped gifts inside
While Aaron and Kali rode their new bikes, Griff and I checked out the half
eaten carrots left behind by the reindeer.
One of my gifts was a sweet camera which Maurice and I were trying to figure out here.
My brother's kids got a trampoline from Santa. Need I say more?
This was taken right before Griff went into surgery on a Care Bear
