Last month we took a weekend trip to visit Sequoia National Park with our friends, the Shermans. This was the start of a whirlwind 4 weeks, which I will post plenty of pictures of.
We drove to the Sherman's house, a few hours outside the park, on Aaron's birthday. Malia was so sweet to decorate for our arrival and we had a little party for him.
Happy 35th babe!
The next morning we hopped in the car and drove to Sequoia.
We made a little stop at a yummy ice cream shop first, right on a river. So cute.
Next stop was to Moro Rock. 400 steps to the top of a rock that gives you a bird's eye view of the Park. Nothing but a little rail keeps you and your babies from falling to your death, but it was worth it. The view was breathtaking.

I love this pic because Kali is showing us that the pine cone is bigger than her dog!

Silly boys on top of it
silly family under it
Later that day we made it to our tiny little cabin for the night.
1 room + 7 people = not a lot of sleep.
It was rough but worth it, and we'll always remember the fun of our little cabin.
