Babies are cute when they are sweaty

Yes, this picture is proof that it was hotter than snot today.
No, it is not the middle of summer... it is APRIL.
Yes, I took the muffin to the beach because we were melting in Little Saigon.
No, I could not stop laughing when the following situation took place:
I was sitting at the edge of the shore with the muffin on my lap, when I ladybug landed on her leg. I pointed it out to her, telling her what it was and how cute it was, when she picked up in her little fingers, stared at it for a few seconds, and placed it in her mouth. Yes, my daughter tried to eat her first bug and it was real funny. I love my life!

Random Pictures From This Week...

On Wednesday I took Kali and Kailer to the beach and it was REALLY WINDY but she loved it.

This is her new toy station that was given to her. She is madly in love with it.

On Friday my dad, Kali, and I drove out to Utah for a one day trip, and while we were there Kali got to play with some cousins and friends.

This is her and cousin Brigan having a good laugh about something

This is Kali giving her cousin a hickey

Perhaps the best part of her trip was getting to sit in Gavin's bouncy. Thank you Gavin!

Here Comes the Bride

On Friday, March 27th my big sister married Maurice Cureton in the San Diego Temple. This is what they looked like as they stepped outside as a married couple...

Waiting for the bride and groom

After the ceremony we went down to the beach for some family photos

And then some wedding dinner

The next day Tasha and Maurice had a ring ceremony at a beach in Laguna.

My little big sister is all grown up!

Kali came to the ceremony prepared for the sun.

Whales and Motorcycles

This last weekend Aaron and I took a little trip of 760 miles round trip. The crazy part is, we rode the motorcycle the whole way. Yes... 760 miles on a motorcycle means we rode all day Saturday and all day Sunday. It probably would have been really boring and exhausting if it the ride wasn't so beautiful.
On Saturday morning we left Little Saigon (that's where we reside) and all the way up California to Big Sur. That's almost to San Francisco. We drove along the most beautiful beaches, through rolling green hills, along sheer cliffs dropping into the ocean, and through Redwood forests. It was awesome. We saw elephant seal resting on the sand, dolphins jumping in the ocean, pods of whales blowing water in the air, and a family of deer running in the woods. Saturday night we stayed at a lodge in the middle of a forest at the top of a cliff over the ocean. They had no TV's, no phones, and not even a gas station. It was really cool. On Sunday morning we hiked down to a waterfall, drove to a paradise-like beach where the mountain stream hits the ocean, and drove all the way home.
The pictures that we took just didn't do it justice.

This is what most of the ride looked like

Notice the baby waterfall dropping on the sand

This was our little friend outside of our lodge room

Bixby Bridge. It was large.

The best hot chocolate I ever had in my life.
