The Cruise: Part 1

It seems like the last several months revolved around planning "the cruise" that we just got back from. We went with some of our closest friends, 3 other couples, to the Western Caribbean for 7 days and had a blast. Here are a few pictures of the trip... Seen above are Aaron and I snorkeling a shipwreck off the coast of Grand Cayman Island.

I though it was appropriate to include a picture of Aaron at one of the self-serve ice cream machines around the ship, since we spent so much time at it.


Coincidentally, 3 of us girls are all pregnant and due within just a few weeks of each other. This is us (Me, Kristen, and Kristen) at a beach in Grand Cayman.

Our second port was at Isla Roatan, Honduras, where we spent the day at a gorgeous resort on the beach. The water was like bath water!

A girl who loves her dad

So last week we went on a magically wonderful trip to the Caribbean (will post photos eventually) and while we had the time of our lives, there was nothing better than coming home to our sweet little Kali and seeing her big smile when daddy held her.

Carsbad '09

For the past three years Aaron and I have made it a tradition to camp down at Carlsbad Beach for a few days. We LOVE it there. I used to camp there with my family as a kid, but had not been back in a long time until two summers ago. We love it there because it is so beautiful, and the camp sites sit on cliffs overlooking the beach. Last summer we went when I was 9 months pregnant with Kali, so this was our first time with a baby and she loved it.
This is basically what we did for 3 days
